10 Minute Green Cappuccino [Matcha, Paleo, Banting, Gluten-Free]

If you’re like me and do not drink coffee then you would know how left out you feel when everyone is drinking their frothy cappuccinos and getting that much needed boost for the day. Red Cappuccino is nice but sometimes you need that extra kick! This green cappuccino is loaded with antioxidants and the jasmine lends a very nice taste to it. NB: To add a green colour to it: Use matcha powder instead of the green tea teabag.

Ingredients (serves 1):

250ml raw unpasteurized whole milk/almond milk
1 tea bag jasmine green tea/ 1-2 tsp matcha powder
Stevia or honey to sweeten
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Method (10 Minute):
Pour milk into a pan/pot, add the green tea bag, sweetener of your choice and the 1 tsp cinnammon. Bring to a gentle boil and once the milk starts developing froth pour into a mug. Sprinkle with the remaining cinnamon and enjoy.

NB: you can make it a bullet-proof green cappuccino by adding one egg into the coffee then using a hand blender to mix it up. Delicieux!
